Charly's first hike

We went hiking a few weeks ago in Columbia, SC for Charly's 1st birthday. She had just learned to walk a few feet and was eager to try hiking on here own.

Her first steps were almost 4 weeks ago. Now she can walk the whole house without falling. She hardly crawls at all anymore. (which is kind of sad if you ever saw her crawl. It was sooo cute). She sure learned to walk fast! Love it!

Using my own spoon

Though she is still pretty picky about most food, she does like to use the spoon by herself. A bit messy but real cute.

It's my birthday (make that month!)

We went to MI to celebrate with Eric's family about a week before her birthday. We got a HUGE yummy cake (red velvet on top and chocolate with raspberry on bottom) made just her the occation.

On her actual birthday we went to the aquarium and had a great time all day!

She has been the most amazing addition to our family. We are sooo lucky to have her to make our lives complete.
